With all of the announcements surrounding Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, it’s easy to forget that there is construction going on at Epcot as well. Let’s take a look.
First up is the Royal Sommerhus construction taking place between the Mexico and Norway pavilions.
Steel beams have popped up over this past weekend and show the outline of the facade seen in the concept art below.
I’ll also sneak in some pictures I took of the Soarin expansion from a few days earlier.
Moving over to Innoventions East we see that the colorful wall has been tagged with the Colortopia name after Glidden announced a partnership with Disney. Colortopia is slated to open this Fall.
Innoventions East still contains Sum of All Thrills, StormStruck, and Habit Heroes.
Vision House sits behind walls.
Moving over to Innoventions West we find almost all of the square footage walled off with the exception of the Chase Visa Cardholder private Meet and Greet, a space to relax, and the Videogame Playground.
Not nearly as much going on here as, say, Animal Kingdom, but with Colortopia set to open soon, the Froway/Norzen area opening in 2016, and Soarin Around the World opening next year as well, there is work to be done at Epcot.
