Let’s take a look at the construction progress on Pandora. We made it out to the Animal Kingdom yesterday and between Rivers of Light, Tiffins, and Pandora, it was a very busy morning for construction crews. We’ll be taking a look at the two former projects a bit later on, but for now let’s take a look at Pandora.
The view from the turnstiles.
Closer up, compared with mid-October 2015.
Looks like crews continued to add foliage to the top of the mountains.
They were also in the middle of painting the face of one of the “support” mountains.
Finally, a closer look at the work sees that the cosmetic vines have matured.
The “support” vines still have mesh around them, waiting to be covered.
Pandora is said to be opening in 2017, with rumors pointing to Spring.
Fantastic photos, as always! Whether or not one is a fan of the movie Avatar, this land is going to be visually stunning, and based on what I’ve read, feature 2 really great rides. Of course, the land will be an incredible attraction itself.
You’ve got to love that WDI are moving back to higher ride capacity dark rides with the Boat ride attraction that will be in Pandora!
