We’re in Disneyland for a few days, so that means we’ll be posting some photo updates, reviews, and more! We start in Tomorrowland with the Astro Orbitor. As you’ll see in the photos, it’s currently dismantled as part of the refurbishment that started earlier this month.
While under refurbishment, facts about the various Astro Orbitor attractions from around the world are posted on the construction walls.
Here’s a look at how the work is affecting the path into Tomorrowland.
Astro Orbitor at Disneyland doesn’t have a published reopening date.
After the completion of Marvel Land at Disney’s California Adventure in 2020, when Tomorrowland refurbishes at Disneyland, in the above ground platform, they could remove the old and unused observatron as well as removing all the old and unused PeopleMover / Rocket Rod tracks from the platform to pave the way for the new OmniMover with windows.
