PHOTOS: New Concept Art and Logo Released for Disney’s Riviera Resort

Disney has released new concept art and a logo for their upcoming Disney Vacation Club – Disney’s Riviera Resort. The new resort is located on the north shore of Barefoot Bay, taking over a section of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. When completed, Disney’s Riviera Resort will have approximately 300 units and it will be connected to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot via the Disney Skyliner gondola system.

Here’s a look at the logo that Disney released.

In addition to the logo, Disney put out a new piece of concept art, showing the porte-cochère and the front of the resort at night.

Disney’s Riviera Resort is scheduled to open in Fall 2019. This Fall will definitely be a busy time at Walt Disney World, with Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and the Disney Skyliner gondola system all scheduled to open during the same time frame.

    1. I am continually confused by this – what is the difference between Gran Destino Tower and the Riviera Resort? Are they they same or two completely different pieces? I always thought Riviera was the whole thing – but now I saw in July Gran Destino Tower is opening. Help me understand, please! 🙂
