DEVELOPING: Pandora Attractions Evacuated This Morning After Burning Smell Reported

UPDATE (10:45am) – A Disney spokesperson has confirmed that both attractions have been evacuated. The evacuation was due to a fire alarm signal received, but there is no smoke or fire. Out of an abundance of caution and with the safety of guests as their top priority, Disney cleared both rides. Disney hopes to have both attractions back to normal operation shortly.

    Our original report continues below.

According to multiple guest reports on social media, both attractions in Pandora – The World of Avatar have been evacuated. Both attractions were listed as temporarily closed on the My Disney Experience app from around 9:30am. Some guests have reported a burning smell, but no official statement from Disney has been released.

This isn’t the first time the attractions have been evacuated. Back in June 2017, both attractions were evacuated after a fire alarm caused Disney to clear the building that the attractions share.

This is a developing story and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on the latest.
