Disneyland Paris has announced their plans to celebrate May the 4th, a fan-created day of Star Wars. Here’s a rundown of what they plan on offering.
THE day to come dressed up in Star Wars™ fashion with family and friends
In order to celebrate #MayThe4thBeWithYou, Disneyland Park is allowing fans to come dressed up* as their favorite Star Wars characters on 4 May 2019. Jedi Masters, young Padawans, Sith, smugglers, everyone is invited to wear their best outfit in tribute to the Star Wars™ saga. So get your lightsaber out and be ready!

A special celebration at Discoveryland
Star Wars music will be heard throughout Discoveryland and inside Videopolis, guests will be able to put their knowledge to the test on the screen of Videopolis with a special Star Wars trivia game from 2 p.m.
Meet the greatest Star Wars heroes
R2-D2 will be making an exceptional appearance at Discoveryland on this special day. He will be hovering around Videopolis and Star Tours to greet fans. Chewbacca, the most famous Wookiee, will also be making an appearance to give guests an epic experience. The Stormtroopers will be patrolling through Discoveryland and the most courageous fans can even venture to the Dark Side of the Force to come face to face with Darth Vader at Star Port.
Exclusive photo opportunities
Fans will be able to get an exclusive photo with a brand new immersive experience in Hoth Cave in front of Discoveryland Theater. In the photo, they will look as if they are hanging upside down, like Luke Skywalker in the scene when he finds himself face to face with a Wampa.
Eat a BB-8 special menu
Café Hyperion in Discoveryland will be offering the perfect menu for Star Wars fans with its BB-8 Burger. The Force will be strong with the snacks sold in Discoveryland and some of the most delicious treats from Legends of the Force season will return including the Tie Fighters shortbread.
Stock up on souvenirs from a galaxy far, far away
To mark this special day, guests can receive Star Wars-themed badges which will be handed out at the entrance of Disneyland Park. The Star Traders shop is the place to go for a 100% Star Wars shopping experience with a whole galaxy of clothing and accessories surrounded by décor that feels as if you’ve stepped into a Star Destroyer.

–Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
Feel the Force of this blast through the Star Wars galaxy. Rebels of all ages can board a Starspeeder 1000 and take off on a thrilling 3D voyage to stunning star systems and war-torn worlds, from Jakku and Hoth to Tatooine and even the dreaded Death Star. Loaded with state-of-the-art technology and over 60 mission combinations, this is an experience sure to thrill the most devout Jedi in the galaxy.
–Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
For the 25thAnniversary of Disneyland Paris, Star Wars took over the park’s mythical space attraction, offering a unique experience: Space Mountain which became Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. As part of this new adventure, guests at Disneyland Park are able to take flight in a brand-new setting to meet up with the famous Rebel Alliance and experience an epic, sensation-packed expedition – a totally immersive experience into the world of Star Wars and to the sound of the original soundtrack composed by John Williams.
Enjoy an epic nighttime spectacular
As the sun goes down, head to Sleeping Beauty Castle to enjoy a spectacular show of Disney Illuminations. This original show, inaugurated for the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris, includes sound and light shows, video projections, water fountains and fireworks that will take your breath away. The audience will be guided through a multitude of adventures – in a galaxy far, far away – featuring the Millennium Falcon, TIE Fighters, Stormtroopers and many more.
