Disney has just reopened the half of the Art of Animation lobby that was getting new flooring. While the general color scheme and theme remains, Disney has switched to a more durable laminate flooring instead of the small tiles that used to pixelate the floor.
As you can see, the difference is noticeable and the transition from new to old is covered by mats at the moment.
The new flooring can be seen on the left of the image below and the old is on the right.
With half of the lobby completed, the next phase of floor replacement work has begun, causing walls to go up around the other half of the reception desks.
