Back in mid-May, we exclusively reported on a rumor that said that Restaurantosaurus would be the next dining location to bring a family-style dining option to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Of course, the Pizzafari family-style dinner has been offered since August of last year. With the 1-year mark of that dining option approaching soon, Disney is said to be looking at other dinner locations and Restaurantosaurus is next on the list.

Today, we have little bit more information about what you’ll be able to eat when the dining option eventually opens up for booking. According to our own sources, and Cast Members at the location, the family-style dining option at Restaurantosaurus will feature gourmet burgers and sundaes. When we first wrote about the rumor back in mid-May, we had hoped that Disney would continue what they did at Pizzafari and bring more premium ingredients to the table when offering a family-style option to Restaurantosaurus. We’re happy to see that it looks like they will be doing just that.

We don’t have any further details such as pricing, but Cast Members at Restaurantosaurus said that they’re trying to target an August opening for the family-style dining option. Just like with Pizzafari, it is expected that a section of the restaurant will be used for the family-style dining, with Restaurantosaurus continuing to offer their normal quick-service options as well.

Of course, just like any rumor this should be treated as unofficial unless and until Disney confirms it.
