Guests hoping to Park Hop between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will be required to utilize busses or their own transportation as the EPCOT monorail remains closed.

Cast Members we spoke with indicated that Disney is not in a position to operate monorails to EPCOT for only half the day as Park Hopping begins at 2pm. Additionally, Cast Members indicated that the monorail supply that would typically service EPCOT is being used for the Magic Kingdom area service. The need for additional monorails on the Magic Kingdom loop is reportedly due to the lack of capacity on a single monorail due to physical distancing. BlogMickey.com has not been able to independently verify those claims.

Either way, the outcome is the same – no monorail service to EPCOT at this time.
