According to a permit filed with the state, a new show element will be installed soon at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction at EPCOT. The permit describes the work as “Project S – Show Element” and lists Brilliant Creative Fabrication as the contractor. Walt Disney Imagineering is listed as the owner of the work.
Brilliant Creative doesn’t list any of their previous projects on their site, but does offer the following description of their work:
If you have been to a theme park you have seen our work. From dinosaurs to outer space. From fairy tales to virtual reality. We are known as one of the best “go to” companies in the business.
Readers of the site will know that this isn’t the first permit for show scene installations, but we do have to go back in time a bit to find earlier permits that point to the potential scope of the project.
Back in May 2019, a permit was filed with Spitz Inc. as the contractor – a company that calls themselves the “world’s leading supplier of dome screens”, and lists work such as turnkey planetariums, fulldome shows, and precision-manufactured architectural domes and structures.
