We first took a look at the construction of a North entrance back in late-September 2015. Here’s a look at the current progress.

A new right turn lane for Eastbound traffic on Reams Rd as it approaches the Magic Kingdom Cast Member parking lot.

Traffic signals being installed for the new intersection. This will eliminate the need for State Troopers to provide traffic control during peak times at this busy intersection.

It is still worth noting that this work is part of a “phase 1” that will add this new entrance and traffic signals. Eventually, there will be a new road constructed that will allow traffic to pass by all of the backstage buildings that the current route passes.
