PHOTOS: High Winds Damage Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris; Force Closure

High winds caused damage to a turret on Sleeping Beauty Castle Monday morning at Disneyland Paris. The top of a turret fell off of the castle, forcing the closure of the castle and surrounding areas for the remainder of the day.

The turret in question can be seen below.

Both the front and rear of the castle were closed with Cast Members citing a lack of confidence in the 25th Anniversary decorations staying secure through the winds.

The Castle and surrounding areas reopened to guests Tuesday after crews removed some more of the turret toppers.
