Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Premier Passholders will have the opportunity to experience exclusive access to Toy Story Land on select dates this September.

Registration will be required, and at no additional cost. Annual Passholders will be able to bring a friend, as long as that friend also has a valid annual pass level as noted above, are a part of their Friends & Family list, and are sharing “All Plans”.

Annual Passholders should keep an eye out for an invitation via email. According to Disney, event capacity is limited. Details such as what time of day this exclusive access would be offered are not available at this time.

This offer to Annual Passholders comes at an odd time of year, two months after the land officially opens. While Annual Passholders will still be able to enter the new land with regular guests from June 30th, many were looking forward to previewing the new land ahead of official opening like they did with Pandora – The World of Avatar over a year ago. This offer all but confirms that there will be no special Annual Passholder previews of the land, and that Disney is trying to make up for what appears to be a sluggish construction schedule by offering this “perk”.

Disney is working long hours to ensure all attractions and parts of the land are ready for opening day on June 30th. Even though there will be no structured previews, it’s possible that day guests may encounter limited soft openings in the week leading up to the official opening.

Cast Members are said to begin training for the new land this Sunday, June 10th. Because the land is still a construction zone, the training will be more of an off-site “pep rally” to cover land logistics from a theoretical standpoint and to get Cast Members excited to work in Andy’s Backyard.
