Disney has recently updated the Play Disney Parks App and, by extension, the Star Wars Datapad. When guests step on to Batuu, the Play Disney Parks app transforms into the Star Wars Datapad, allowing you to have a more immersive experience within the land. The four main sections of the app are:
- Translate galactic languages—both written and spoken.
- Discover precious cargo and digital goods as you scan objects all around the spaceport—including items hidden inside space-shipping crates and containers.
- Tune into communications sent by the planet’s many residents to uncover stories and secrets throughout the land—and unscramble transmissions being sent from far, far away.
- Use the Play Disney Parks app to hack into the land’s many devices, control panels and droids.
With the latest update, Disney has added some mugshots of previously unseen characters from within Batuu. Both Oga Garra and Savi are big names in the streets of Black Spire Outpost.
Oga Garra
Oga Garra is the proprietor of Oga’s Cantina, the local watering hole in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. She’s been described as an alien of the Blutopian species, but nothing else until now. Here’s a look at her mugshot that can be found within the Star Wars Datapad.
Savi
We look to another popular establishment within Batuu to get a first look at the next proprietor. Here’s a look at Savi, from Savi’s Workshop, where you can build your own custom lightsaber.
