As we get closer and closer to the opening date of the Disney Skyliner gondola system, it looks lie more Cast Members are using the system as a means of transportation between stations.

After spotting a Disney Skyliner gondola cabin full of Imagineers in late July, we were watching construction of the Riviera Resort station this afternoon when we heard people talking from right above us. A quick retrieval of the camera and a few shaky photos later revealed three Cast Members riding between the Riviera Resort station and the International Gateway station at Epcot.

It might not be the most groundbreaking update of the Disney Skyliner gondola system this month, but it’s exciting to see people riding Walt Disney World’s newest transportation system. We expect to see many more Disney Cast Members testing the system in the coming weeks as Disney and Doppelmayr put the finishing touches on the system and prepare it for guest use at the end of September.
