Odyssey Pavilion Repainting Underway Ahead of Debut as Epcot Overhaul Center

While walking around Epcot recently, we noticed that the Odyssey pavilion was getting a new color palate as well as some roof work. We’ll start wide and work our way in to illustrate the work underway.

From across the Future World pond, not much work immediately presents itself. We did see a couple of workers on the roof and heard what appeared to be hammering. It’s unclear what, exactly, they’re working on, but with no guest occupancy at the moment, we’re sure Disney is taking their time to do any repair work needed to make the Odyssey shine when it reopens later this year as the central spot guests will be able to go to see what Disney has planned for the massive Epcot Overhaul project.

All of the windows are blacked out, which means so sneak peeks of what lies ahead just yet.

Other work includes repainting the brown low wall around the exterior to a grey.

Some portions of the wall are still a work in progress, while others are surely awaiting more coats of paint to completely hide the now old color of brown.
