Select Dining Locations to Open as Early as 2:30am at Disney Resorts for Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day

In lieu of any official announcements so far from Disney, we’re hitting the ground to bring you operational updates on what you can expect for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening day at Walt Disney World.

We’ve already covered the modified park hours for the first three days (park opens at 6am to everyone), the Extra Extra Magic Hours offered until early November to hotel guests, and the likelihood of a virtual queue system as needed. Today, we’re here with another operational update as it relates to grabbing an early breakfast at the resorts.

We made it out to a few resorts today to inquire about breakfast operations. Many quick service locations that we visited told us they plan on opening at 2:30am this Thursday, August 29th. The operating hours then shifted closer to regular hours the further we got from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening day.

At Disney’s Pop Century Resort, they actually had signage out for the convenience of their guests. We hope to either see an official statement from Disney soon about opening day operations, or more signage for hotel guests. Please check with the Cast Members at your resort to find out which dining location will be open early to fuel you for Batuu.

We also spoke with transportation Cast Members who indicated that the bus service is currently scheduled to operate as normal, which translates to buses leaving the resorts roughly one hour before scheduled park open. Managers we spoke with did not anticipate the Disney Skyliner being a transportation option for guests looking to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on opening day.

Keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we provide continuing coverage of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening day and much more from around the Disney Parks.
