A new MagicBand is available via the My Disney Experience app that features Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! The MagicBand is only available for Annual Passholders and Disney World hotel guests right now as part of the “upgrade your MagicBand offer“. While it’s only available to a select few right now, chances are that we’ll see this one (and more) become widely available as we get closer to the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on August 29th. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge MagicBand – $29.99
Unlike other MagicBands available to upgrade to, there is no discount offered against the full retail price of $29.99.
The original price at $29.99 was an error and has been fixed to reflect the $14.99 discount, so they are currently $15, similar to the other LE bands.
I ordered one at the original price and received an email from Disney that they recognized the error and were refunding me the $14.99… without my even asking! Sweet!
