Shanghai Disneyland to Close August 10th Due to Typhoon Lekima

    As Typhoon Lekima prepares to make landfall some 200 miles south of Shanghai, Disney has announced that Shanghai Disneyland will be closed tomorrow, August 10th. The latest advisory on the typhoon had sustained winds at 110 mph. While Shanghai Disneyland won’t face winds nearly that high, there will be gusts and heavy rainfall is expected.

    For guests who have booked tickets for admission to Shanghai Disneyland on August 10, 2019, you can visit the park on any other day within the next six months (by February 10, 2020). Your tickets can be redeemed at the park entrance turnstiles with the original Government Identity Card or Travel Document that was used to purchase your tickets for August 10, 2019, on the day of your next visit.

    For guests who have booked tickets for the Beauty and The Beast Mandarin Production on August 10, 2019, please contact your purchasing channel to reschedule a date or obtain a refund.
