Construction Walls Installed Between the Imagination Pavilion and The Land Pavilion at Epcot

It’s the story of Epcot – construction walls. As if the construction walls around the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction, or the Play Pavilion, or the Fountain of Nations, or the Future World west structures, or in front of Spaceship Earth, or the parking lot area weren’t enough, there are now new walls between the Imagination Pavilion and The Land Pavilion. Of course, in order for Imagineers to realize the future of Epcot, there must be a period of change and we seem to be in the thick of it in the closing months of 2019. We made it out to Epcot today to take a look around and show you the latest work going on as the Epcot overhaul project kicks into high gear.

Our first wide shot shows the walkway to The Land on the right and the walkway towards the Imagination pavilion to the left.

Guests can easily see past the walls, where work appears to have not begun just yet. There really isn’t much to touch in this area as it only contains a flowerbed right now. It’s likely that this area is part of an infrastructure project, and not necessarily for a new structure or something that will be directly utilized by guests.

As far as what could be taking place here, it’s unclear right now. With no visible work and the concept art below doesn’t show any changes to The Land, The Seas, or the Imagination pavilions.

    1. I greatly enjoy your updates. I was wondering if they might be taking out the flower beds and in putting in more trees. According to the concept art (which is just that — concept), there appears to be more trees present between Imagination and The Land and between The Land and The Sea
