Disney has been conducting guest surveys from the beginning. “Did you enjoy your day?”, “Did you get anything to eat?”, “Did you buy any merchandise?”, and more are common questions to not only get from Guest Survey Cast Members at the parks, but also via email surveys sent to you a day or so after your park visit.
Today, we’ve received a few reports of a new survey partnership between Worthix and Disney to build better surveys. Worthix is the “first customer survey built with Artificial Intelligence”, according to their website. Worthix says that their survey uses real time answers to suggest questions based on what customers want to talk about.
An email from Disney Destinations Research says that Disney has “commissioned Worthix, an independent market research company, to conduct and process the survey data with a select group of our Guests”. While some of the questions were pretty standard, some of them stuck out such as the one seen below that asks you to try and describe Walt Disney World, “if Walt Disney World were a person”.
It’s definitely an odd question, but maybe one of the first attempts at using AI to question guests about their experiences and suggestions to improve a day at the parks and resorts.
At this time, it’s unclear if Disney will attempt to outsource all of their surveys, or just select surveys. Here’s the full survey that was sent to us.
While the survey above was about Disney’s Hollywood Studios, some guests have reported that they received a similar survey about Epcot and how they and their family viewed the park.
