A new walkway has been constructed to support an upcoming souviner brick removal project along the walkway between Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. As you’re probably aware, Disney is removing the Walk Around the World souviner bricks from Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center. The photos below show off the new, likely temporary, that guests will use as crews remove the bricks in the coming months. Here’s a look around!
While this bus drop off area isn’t new, all of the pavement past it is new.
The pathway eventually meets up with the existing walkway near the bus turn around area near the Magic Kingdom entrance.

Did they notify the owners of those bricks ? I had a family member who purchased one. Years ago. I always like to look for it when we go. They have since passed away. Its was always nice to know there waa a piece of them there . They should send them to people
