Doppelmayr, the company that built the Disney Skyliner gondola system, is at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo this week. We made it out to their booth to find the next generation of the same Omega cabin in use for the Disney Skyliner gondola system. The Disney Skyliner uses modified Omega IV cabins and the new cabin on display is the sleek Omega V.

From improved in-cabin lighting to optional onboard air conditioning, individual seats to a slightly wider entry, the Omega V is compatible with the existing Disney Skyliner gondola system installation at Walt Disney World and seemingly provides an upgraded ride experience (both daytime and night) over the current installation.
