Latest Look at Tron Lightcycle Run Construction (Building Enclosure, Queue Construction, and More)

We made it out to Magic Kingdom this morning to get an updated look at the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster construction. It’s been a few weeks since Disney has completed the full length of the track, and we wanted to check in on the next steps of the project.

We’ll take a look at a few different aspects of the project. First, here’s an overview of the exterior loop work.

Here’s a look at the work being done on the queue. As you’ll notice in our photo tour of the clone Tron attraction in Shanghai Disneyland, the queue is actually over the launch section of the coaster, providing some wonderful views.

Another change since our last look is the fact that workers are starting to enclose the gravity building.

Inside the building, there appears to be a lift of some sort (yellow) that will assist with the additon of theming elements.

Disney has begun to wrap parts of the roller coaster to protect against damage.

Here’s a look around at more general construction photos.
