Living with the Land “Merry and Bright Nights” Holiday Overlay Debuts at Epcot

As part of the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays (which debuts on November 29th), Disney has debuted an updated holiday overlay at Living with the Land. While it’s being marketed as a brand new holiday overlay, it really isn’t. Living with the land has received holiday touches in years past, but this year marks the first year that the experience is branded with the “Merry and Bright Nights” name. With the name comes an updated operating schedule for the attraction during the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays that we previously reported on. As part of the festival, the attraction will remain open until park close, giving guests plenty of time to experience the holiday overlay.

As you can see in the video below, the overlay only takes place in the greenhouse portion of the attraction, and doesn’t include holiday music right now. We spoke with Cast Members who said that holiday music was unlikely given the on-board narration, but we’ll know for sure this Friday.
