UPDATE (1:15pm): The dining reservation system is working again.
According to a message within the My Disney Experience app, the ability to make new reservations for dining is down right now. Despite Disney announcing that the My Disney Experience app and website are now the preferred method for making new reservations, guests are unable to do so right now.
As a matter of fact, it looks like the entire dining reservation system is down right now, as the message says that new reservations by phone are unavailable too. FastPass+ selections and ticket purchases appear to be unaffected.
