UPDATE (6:00pm): Magic Kingdom is open to all guests.
It’s one of the busiest days of the year today at Walt Disney World and Magic Kingdom has just reached a phase closure. As of publish time, Magic Kingdom is in a Phase B closure, but it’s possible that might increase as crowds build throughout the day.
Disney Promo Card vouchers for $50 are being distributed at the Magic Kingdom Park auto plaza while Disney is in a Phase status for those not able to enter the park, along with complimentary parking at another park. They may be redeemed today only.
Here’s a list of the phase closures at Walt Disney World and what they mean.
Phase A Closing
The park is closed to guests who don’t meet one of the following criteria:
- Resort guests
- Golden Oak residents
- Annual Passholders
- Guests with Park Hopper tickets or those who are re-entering the park
- Guests with dining reservations
- Guests with Memory Maker
- Guests with reservations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Phase B Closure
The park is closed to guests who don’t meet one of the following criteria:
- Resort guests
- Annual Passholders
- Guests with dining reservations
- Guests with Memory Maker
- Guests with reservations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Phase 1 Closure
Guests will be turned away at the parking plaza if they don’t have park tickets, or have a single day ticket. Guests using Cast Member entrance passes will be turned away as well.
Phase 2 Closure
The park is closed to guests who don’t meet one of the following criteria:
- Resort guests
- Annual Passholders
- Guests with Park Hopper tickets or those who are re-entering the park
- Guests with dining reservations
- Guests with reservations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
- Guests using Walt Disney World transportation
Phase 3 Closure
- Resort guests
- Annual Passholders
- Guests with dining reservations
- Guests with reservations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Phase 4 Closure
No guests allowed in the park.
