Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, has just announced that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open March 4, 2020 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. News of the March 4th opening date follows our exclusive reporting of the missed Fall 2019 opening timeframe.
This will be the first Disney ride-through attraction featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, that will draw guests inside a Mickey cartoon for a fun-filled adventure where “Mouse rules apply” and anything can happen!
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will take place inside the space formerly occupied by The Great Movie Ride. For a full, multi-angle 4K video of The Great Movie Ride, check out our video below.
Ooooh! Looks like they just repurposed GMR. Kinda like what they did with Maelstrom, where they left the track and set pretty much intact but changed the decor. While I miss GMR, I am excited about this new adventure! Thanks for always keeping us up-to-date.
