After the worldwide debut of the final installment of the Skywalker Saga with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker last night, Disney has debuted a brand new flight at Star Tours this morning. This new flight is now standard for all Star Tours flights going forward, with no end date for the experience given.

We made it out to Disney’s Hollywood Studios today to take a flight and take you with us! It’s worth noting that there are some scenes that might be considered spoilers for the movie in the attraction.

Star Tours continues to provide what both attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge don’t – a connection to the films. There is no doubt that the attraction holds value for Star Wars fans who might be looking for more of a traditional ride experience that relies on the films for inspiration.

In the Star Tours Rise of Skywalker flight, we continue the tradition of visiting Star Wars movie locations, this time traveling to ocean moon of Kef Bir, where we travel through the remnants of the crashed second Death Star. In the wreckage, we face a familiar aquatic creature who calls the ship remnants home.

General Lando Calrissian then calls us on a mission to join the epic climactic space battle taking place in The Rise of Skywalker on the planet Exogol! Finally, we have a wonderful throwback moment to an earlier iteration of the attraction when we end our flight. Overall, the new scene is extremely thrilling and should make the vast majority of Star Wars and Star Tours fans very happy!
