In order to give guests more time to enjoy the park, Disney has extended close from 8pm to 9pm tonight, January 6th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The change won’t be reflected in the times guide, but has been updated in the My Disney Experience app and online.
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and Fantasmic! will still be shown at 8pm as scheduled.
I noticed that they are only through Group 77 today, w/ Backup boarding groups starting at 133. What are the odds they extended time solely because RotR has had so much downtime today?
Solely because of that seems unlikely. Typically this is done because there are higher crowd levels than they may have anticipated. That said, it’s possible to likely that downtime has at least played a factor
