Major Airlines Cancel Flights to China Amid Coronavirus Outbreak; Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland Remain Closed

Major US-based airlines have announced that they will suspend service to some Chinese destinations amid growing concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak.

American Airlines has stated that they will suspend the route from Los Angeles to Shanghai and Beijing from February 9th through March 27th.

United has suspended 24 U.S. flights to Beijing Hong Kong, and Shanghai between February 1st and February 8th due to what the company is citing as a significant drop in demand.

Both Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland are closed indefinitely due to concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak. Neither park has announced a planned reopening date, but both are closely monitoring the situation and offering refunds to guests who are affected by the closure.

For more closures and cancellations, check with your airline carrier.
