Update on Spaceship Earth Walkway Project at Epcot

As we continue our tour of impacted walkways and more at Epcot, a lynchpin to further expanding demolition for a new Moana attraction is the Spaceship Earth walkway project.

Seen below coming out from under the lower right side of Spaceship Earth, this walkway is crucial to guest flow as this area is currently a dead end.

Here’s a look at the current construction area.

As you can see below, there is still quite a bit of work to be done on this walkway. It’s our belief that Disney can’t properly utilize the bypass walkway that goes past the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction site until this pathway under Spaceship Earth is completed.

Disney hasn’t announced a completion date for this work, but it seems like they would want it done in the coming weeks.

As always, keep checking back with us here at BlogMickey.com as we continue to report on the Epcot Overhaul Project and much more from around the Disney Parks.
