Walt Disney World Railroad Static Exhibit Moving to Fantasyland Station in Late-January

The Walt Disney World Railroad static exhibit that has been parked at the Main Street USA Station since December 2018, will be moving to the Fantasyland Station on January 27, 2020.

The move will allow for some track and maintenance work at the Main Street USA station while still allowing guests a unique viewing experience while the Walt Disney World Railroad is out of commission.

As you might know, the railroad has been closed since 2018 as Disney works on the Tron Lightcycle Run roller coaster in Tomorrowland. The construction of the coaster, show building, and surrounding pathway and theming required the railroad track to be removed in Tomorrowland and the train to be parked at a station for guest viewing.

As seen in the concept art below, the Tron Lightcycle Run attraction will be built over the railroad track.
