It’s been an exciting morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today. From the first of many scheduled 8am openings to bringing you a first look at the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway sign to land clearing for a new restaurant coming to Toy Story Land, there’s been no shortage of news from Hollywood Studios.
As it turns out, even though we showed up at 5:30am to bring you coverage of new rope drop procedures for Rise of the Resistance, the folks at Walt Disney Imagineering were working hard on the installation of the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway sign. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the overnight installation.

I like that it doesn’t detract from the original facade, which has always been a symbol of that park. It’s change, but it’s a good change I think!
