Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been down for over 5 hours now, going down just after park opening this morning.

While visiting Magic Kingdom today, we noticed that a train was still on the track, signaling an extended downtime that likely won’t be fixed today, according to Cast Members we spoke with.

Work lights were illuminated when we walked by earlier today.

Guests who have FastPass+ for the attraction are being offered alternative attraction choices automatically within the My Disney Experience app and via email.
