France Pavilion Loses Power at Epcot; Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Experiencing Delayed Opening, Registers Down

The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along can’t catch a break. From technical difficulties last month to a delayed opening today due to a loss of power to the France Pavilion.

According to managers in the area, the France Pavilion has lost power today and essential elements of the pavilion are running on backup generators. Unfortunately, that means that the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along isn’t open as it either consumes too much energy to run on backup, or isn’t considered essential.

Elsewhere in the pavilion, the shops are without air conditioning and the cash registers are down, leading to manual transactions for guests who are looking to purchase items.

Also not working is the feature fountain at the entrance to the pavilion.
