The Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin queue will likely be different to you if you haven’t visited the Magic Kingdom recently. The queue has seen a substantial reconfiguration that should improve the efficiency of the attraction.

Of course, not much appears to be different at first, but something will feel off. Can you spot it?

It’s the photo immediately above that showcases the work done over the past few months. First and foremost, there’s a brand new entrance to the attraction! The doorway seen above is brand new and the previous entrance down near Buzz Lightyear has been walled off. Here’s a comparison of the old entrance and new wall.

Don’t worry, the star map still exists to the left.

Even Buzz was trying to point out the new wall to us.

By moving the entrance, we noticed that the attraction had fewer empty cars as the gaps that form when guests stop at Buzz are filled in well before the load area. Here’s a look at the merge point between FastPass+ (empty right lane) and Standby.

Walking through the new entrance reveals that guests now use a much longer hallway, filling in all available space before loading onto the attraction.
