Tomorrowland Visual Refresh Continues at Magic Kingdom; Land Entrance Partially Complete

Work continues to make progress at Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom. While visiting the park this morning, we noticed that scrims are down on the left side of the entrance to Tomorrowland, signaling the completion of recent work.

As you might remember, the left side of the Tomorrowland entrance had scrims up around the PeopleMover support columns as Disney worked to remove some of the theming elements installed in 1994. The work is taking Tomorrowland back to its past with clean lines and an overarching paint scheme of “white”. Here’s a look back at the work from our last update.

Here’s a look at the completed work from this morning.

Here’s a closer look at some of the completed support columns.

It looks like Disney will be working on theming elements below the PeopeMover track at a later date.

Elsewhere in the land, scrims remain in place as Disney seemingly works clockwise around the visible sections of the PeopleMover track.

On the right side of the entrance, work has yet to begin.
