While visiting Magic Kingdom this morning, we noticed some work taking place between Casey’s Corner and Crystal Palace. More specifically, the work is taking place on a backstage gate that has been used in the past as a guest flow bypass to Main Street USA. Typically only used for the highest of crowds, this backstage gate will take guests from near First Aid to the Main Street Fire Station at the front of the park.

As of right now, the work looks to be two-fold, with pathway work and some facade work. Here’s a look around.

As of publish time, it’s unknown if the scope of the project will lead to a proper bypass like the east side of Main Street USA has, or if it’s limited to what we can see above.
