Disney Delays Cast Member Scheduling for April 1st and Beyond

As Disney continues to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, they have notified Cast Members that there will be a delay in scheduling for the week of March 29th through April 4th.

Typically, the schedule for Cast Members comes out a week in advance, which would have meant that Cast would know their schedule for the planned reopening of April 1st by now.

An advisory was posted to Cast Members letting them know that their schedules for March 29th through April 4th would be posted on Tuesday, March 24th at the earliest.

As for what this could mean for an April 1st reopening, it’s uncertain at this point. We anticipate learning more about the reopening timeline from Disney soon, probably before the end of the day on Monday, March 23rd.

As of publish time, Disney has only announced a closure of their domestic theme parks and resorts through March 31st.
