Moana Themed Carpet Added to ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Some new carpet has been added to ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort featuring characters from Moana!

According to Cast Members that we spoke with at the location, the change happened in the past few months, but it seems to have happened quietly. The (formerly) quiet change seems to line up with some of the work we’ve seen around the Disney resorts to work some more Disney characters into spaces that previously didn’t have them. Perhaps the most obvious example of that is the Enchanted Rose “Beauty and the Beast bar” at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. We’ve also seen some Incredibles-themed rooms tested at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Of course, we’ll also see more Disney characters in the future of EPCOT as well, including a Moana-themed attraction.

Here’s a look at Moana and Maui in the Moana themed carpet at ‘Ohana! In the pattern below, we can spot Maui, Moana, and the Heart of Te Fiti.

As of right now, Lilo and Stitch continue to meet with guests during the breakfast meal period, but could we see that come to an end?

What do you think? With this change, do you think we’ll see a Moana takeover of ‘Ohana? Let us know on our Facebook Page or on Twitter!
