While there is plenty to write about when it comes to logistics or the ever changing projections and news as it relates to the Disney theme park closures, it’s nice to take a step back and reflect on the memories and magic that we all love.
An email sent out to Annual Passholders and guests alike from Disney reminds us all that the theme parks and resorts that have played such a big part in some of our best memories will still be there for us on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are some recent messages sent out by Disney.
Annual Passholders
We cherish you. We miss you. And we can’t wait to see you again.
As some of our biggest fans and most loyal Guests, we just wanted to say thank you. For being part of our world. For being there for each other. And for staying strong during this unprecedented time.
Together, we’ve laughed, sang and celebrated…screamed, ooh-ed and ahh-ed. We’ve traveled the world, journeyed under the sea and adventured to a galaxy far, far away. And boy are we far from done.
Rest assured the Disney magic is here to stay and, when the time is right, it will be here waiting for you once again. And it’ll carry more meaning than it ever has before.
So until we can welcome you back to your happy place, stay home, be safe and keep dreaming.
Sincerely,
Your Walt Disney Word Resort Family
Disney Guests
To Our Disney Fans,
You’ve been with us on this journey for generations, through magical Parks and wondrous ships, on guided adventures, island dreams and more. We love sharing it all with you.
Though we can’t be physically together today, we promise the power of magic is here to stay. You can feel it in the wonder of stories and the comfort of song. And in all the unforgettable memories we cherish.
Please know, when it’s time, those magical Disney places and experiences you treasure will be waiting for you and your family and friends to enjoy once again—together.
Until then, be safe, stay well and keep the magic of Disney in your hearts.
It’s been just over a month now since Disney announced the closures of their theme parks, and we here at BlogMickey.com miss it just as much as we know all of you do. We’re all in this together and we can’t wait to walk down the middle of Main Street USA, soar on the back of a Banshee, explore World Showcase, and even get up at the crack of dawn to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a trip to the edge of the galaxy or to go on a wacky picnic with Mickey and Minnie. Thank you for continuing to visit the site and we hope to bring you photos and videos from the parks again when it is safe to do so.
