More Information on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Refunds

With yesterday’s news that all Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events were cancelled for 2020, guests were wondering how they might get a refund for their purchase. In the press release, Disney said that “Guests who have already bought tickets will be assisted with refunds over the coming week”.

Today, we have more information from Disney on how they will process the refunds. Here is the latest info:

    • If you purchased a ticket via credit card, we will process a refund to your original form of payment.
    • If you purchased a ticket via a Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Dollars, we will email you a new digital Disney Gift Card for the amount paid.
    • If you purchased a ticket via cash, we will call you to discuss refund options including a mailed check or Disney Gift Card.

If you did not book through Disney directly, please contact your Travel Professional for assistance.

Disney did not offer any more information about a timeline beyond the originally quoted “coming weeks”.
