Disney World Construction Crane Catches Fire From Lightning Strike

    According to Twitter user @itsaustindoes, a crane at the site of the Cove hotel construction, was struck by lightning shortly before noon and caught fire. BlogMickey.com has confirmed with Cast Members working at Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf nearby that a strike took place at roughly 11:31am, but they didn’t notice a fire from their vantage point.

    We went out to take a look and by the time we reached the site, the fire was already out. Construction has since resumed.

    Here are some more photos of the crane that we took minutes ago. There is no immediately clear signs of damage from the ground.
