With the Donald Duck Annual Passholder exclusive magnet offer winding down at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, BlogMickey.com has learned that Disney is preparing another Annual Passholder exclusive magnet!
As a refresher, Disney is currently offering the Donald Duck Annual Passholder magnet from the cancelled 2020 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The festival was cut short last year as COVID-19 forced Disney to close all of their theme parks. While the magnet was offered for the couple of weeks that the festival was able to run, there was obviously plenty of stock left over to offer it up as a weekday exclusive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this year.
Now, BlogMickey.com has learned that another Annual Pass magnet distribution is in the works. While details such as what the design will be and where it will be distributed are still being worked out, Disney has said that the magnet will be “landing early Summer”.
Of course, it would stand to reason that the next magnet to be offered will be the Orange Bird magnet that Disney never got the chance to distribute last year. It was announced that the Donald Duck magnet would be available from March 4th – April 19th, 2020, while the Orange Bird magnet would be available from April 20th – June 1st, 2020. As for the 2021 dates, we’re still waiting on final confirmation.
Disney recently doubled down on the Orange Bird theming at Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom with the introduction of an Orange Bird mural, and an update of the sign. Could we see Orange Bird on a magnet thinking Citrus Swirl thoughts?
