While Disney World recently relaxed its policy on face masks, there are still some parts of your Disney vacation that will require a mask. In this article, we’ll discuss the locations where a face mask is still required at Walt Disney World.

First, if you’re not fully vaccinated, Disney World expects you to wear a face mask indoors. Here’s the updated policy:

While the vast majority of your Disney World vacation can now be spent maskless if you’re fully vaccinated, there is one area where masks are still required to be worn by all guests – regardless of vaccination status.

Enclosed transportation at Walt Disney World still requires that all guests wear a mask while traveling. Eligible transportation includes, but is not limited to, buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner gondola system. Select watercraft may also qualify.

In addition to the more obvious locations listed above, all guests are also required to wear a face mask when entering First Aid locations – regardless of vaccination status.

We recommend that you don’t ditch the mask just yet when visiting Walt Disney World as there are still some areas where it is required. It’s also worth noting that Disney could change its policy on a whim – they have done so before and generally offered little advanced notice.
