As Disney continues to work on the World Celebration construction pit at EPCOT, a new phase is getting ready to open that will have an impact on guest walkways in the coming weeks. An elevated vantage point from the monorail gives us a look at the walkway that is being prepared that will take guests past the yet-to-open Connections Cafe & Eatery in World Celebration.

In this first, wide photo, we can see the existing walkway on the left side of the image. This existing walkway takes a turn to the left and passes behind the Guest Relations building before continuing past the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind construction site.

The new pathway, which we can see on the right, will take a more direct route past the Connections Cafe & Eatery structure.

Disney hasn’t said when this walkway will open, but we imagine that a timeframe of either very late March or early April will be about right for not only the opening of this pathway but other areas such as Connections Cafe and Eatery as well.
