Disney World has announced what we assumed was coming – Blizzard Beach will be closed this weekend due to forecasted low temperatures. The forecasted lows will dip below freezing, necessitating the closure of the water park. Blizzard Beach will be closed December 23-25, currently scheduled to reopen on December 26th, but even that is unlikely. We anticipate that the closure will last through Wednesday, December 28th, but Disney has not announced a closure past December 25th at this time.

Blizzard Beach was closed today, and is scheduled to open tomorrow before closing again.
