As Disney World continues to work on various roadway optimization projects, a major part of the World Drive Northbound/Floridian Way Southbound project is now open. This change will make the exit from the Magic Kingdom parking lot smoother as well as make travel from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort to the rest of Walt Disney World property a bit smoother.

First, here’s a look at the Floridian Way southbound overpass to World Drive connection. As you can see, there’s still a considerable amount of construction that still needs to be completed, but this southbound overpass is now open. The construction will continue as Floridian Way improvements and changes are made over the coming years.
