A second date has now sold out for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser immersive hotel experience at Walt Disney World, falling well below the pace of sellouts when the experience first opened last Spring. Sellouts even remained strong during the Summer 2022, with executives noting the high occupancy numbers on earnings calls. Now, mention of the Starcruiser has gone silent at the top, although a shakeup in leadership and hemorrhaging Studios business might be of a higher priority at the moment. That said, sellouts for the Starcruiser experience are relatively rare, with only two dates sold out for the entire bookable period in 2023:
- February 18-19
- May 17-18 (closed)
- August 19-20 (new)
Here’s a look at the availability calendar for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser through the end of the bookable period in September 2023:
While we haven’t seen any cash discounts for the experience, there is a Disney Vacation Club points discount – hopefully the first of many discounts that will make the amazing experience more affordable. If Disney can’t find a way to start filling more rooms, we’re not sure what the future of the Galactic Starcruiser holds.

I am pretty sure that they have taken the slowdown into account. there are no cruises or hotels in the world that run at %100 at all times of the year. having to take off one seating at dinner in par for the course on a cruise line
